Ohio's oldest Soda Fountain AND the largest used book dealer between Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

If you love used books and eclectic shopping, then Market Square in Kinsman is the place for you. With over 150,000 books on hand, you'll find yourself exploring the aisles and enjoying the sights and sounds of Kinsman.

Market Square's history dates back to 1894 when it was built as a general store and retail space. The building has had many different owners over the years and has always been a source of community pride. In fact, it was purchased by its current owner 30 years ago and has been in continuous operation since then.

Today, Market Square is also home to Ohio's oldest continually operating soda fountain. The fountain has been around since the 1930s and still uses original equipment from that time period. It offers 20 different flavors of soda pop and can make ice cream sodas, phosphates (which are like root beer floats), malts (an old-fashioned treat), milkshakes, sodas with egg creams (milk mixed with seltzer), and much more!

In addition to its extensive book collection and delicious drinks, Market Square also features a new deli where you can grab lunch or dinner before heading home.
