Rich in Ohio history, Leavittsburg was a key player in the development of northeastern Ohio.

Founded in 1803, the first railroad tracks were laid down in 1856 allowing transportation to Cleveland and Pittsburgh. By the 1960's transportation through this small railroad station included stops in such faraway places like Nashville, Boston, Orlando, San Francisco and even Toronto, Canada.

The Leavittsburg Historical Society can be found in the former Polivka building where you’ll find photos, articles, and artifacts about the importance the small town played on the development of northeastern Ohio.

A popular spot for those with animals is the Leavittsburg Feedmill. There you’ll find all you need to care for a variety of animals of all shapes and sizes.
