, in

One of the oldest known structures in Trumbull County, this museum is a legacy to the early pioneers of the Connecticut Western Reserve.

Constructed in 1807, the John Stark Edwards House stands as the oldest existing residence in Warren, preserving the rich history and personal narratives of its former occupants, encapsulating the triumphs, challenges, and universal human encounters this dwelling has observed throughout its existence.

Acquired by the Trumbull County Historical Society in 1938, the home was converted into a museum after its previous owner departed, furthering the mission to share its compelling stories with the public.

The John Stark Edwards Home is now open by appointment only, please call the Trumbull County Historical Society for more details.
