Alley of local artist murals and sculptures in honor of Warren-born Foo Fighters front-man and former Nirvana drummer, David Grohl. Dave Grohl Alley runs parallel to E. Market Street downtown. West entrance adjacent to Burger King restaurant on Main Street SW. The Alley also boasts the Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Drumsticks! Grohl, who was born in Warren on January 14th 1969, moved to Alexandria, VA at a young age, still has family in Warren and spent many summer vacations in the area. Dave Grohl established himself as a highly respected drummer with Nirvana and in 2014 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with bandmates Cobain and Novoselic, in the group's first year of eligibility.
