On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Steel Valley Woofstock 9 will rock the valley.  A fun-filled evening of Peace, Paws, Love, and Music will be at W.D. Packard Music Hall Warren, Ohio. This is a ticketed event, and doors open at 6 PM for what has become a groovy annual event as a fundraiser for Steel Valley Woofstock, a 501c3 nonprofit that helps animals.

Our headliner talent this year is Red Wanting Blue.  Hailed as Midwest Rock Folk Heroes, RWB celebrates 30 years of building lifelong fans on tour with their relentless work ethic, raucous life affirming shows. Their latest album Light It Up is a masterpiece of camaraderie, musicianship, inspiring lyrics with addictive hooks paired with Scott Terry’s dynamic storytelling voice that brings you in for a truly intimate and soul stirring night of music.

Valley native Dean Anshutz is featured on drums & percussion, his drum work is spot on with fills and driving drum lines.

Last year, The Steel Valley All Stars opened for Fantastic Cat. Fantastic Cat had the crowd on their feet and singing and dancing along to their new album release, Now That’s What I Call Fantastic Cat. It was a blast. The All Stars represent the best of the best local musical talent including Rajma, a singer-songwriter and phenomenal rock guitarist. The All Stars also welcomed back valley native and season 13 of The Voice, contestant singer and mad skills guitarist Dennis Drummond on stage.

This year, The Steel Valley All Stars are back featuring Rajma and Dennis, plus a smoking hot list of talented musicians joining them on stage. You won’t want to miss it because Rajma is unleashing some new music!

This is a ticketed event. Your ticket gets you entrance, the basket auction and live musical entertainment.  VIP packages available as well. Tickets on sale June 1, 2026.

Tickets are available on steelvalleywoofstock.org website. This year we will run this event as a concert with concert seating. All seating is floor seating, and if needed we will add the balcony. We will not be offering food this year. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

Our famous basket raffle will be back featuring baskets starting at $100 or more in value! Last year we had over $12,000 in baskets!  We have special basket raffles that require special tickets, one of which is for the Big Bonzai Basket with at least $1000 in dog toys, treats, care items, and fun stuff!

We are currently seeking sponsors and gift certificates to local businesses. Visit our website steelvalleywoofstock.org for sponsorship information. Sponsors get premium seating at front of venue.

Best of all this is a fundraiser for the furbabies! We have helped spay or neuter nearly 400 pets so far this year and assist with humane crisis in our community.

Steel Valley Woofstock Mission Statement

Our mission is simple, spay neuter is the answer, warehousing animals is not. We help pets through spay-neuter programs, community crisis programs, humane crisis outreach, pet food banks, and education plus support military and police dogs. We focus on smaller-scale rescues without facilities yet with effective community programs. Our focus is the local community in Trumbull, Mahoning, and Mercer County.
