Slow Stitching Series ….

The art of hand sewing with intention and care with no rules is what slow stitching is all about. It’s not about perfection, but rather its focus on the process, the materials and the joy of creating something by hand. This stitching series encompasses eight classes covering slow stitching, embroidery, visible, mending, cross stitching and fabric collage. Slow Stitching is portable and you can take it with you wherever you go, setting it down and then picking it up, continuing at your own pace. The projects that we finish in each class can be used in a variety of decorative ways, such as framed art, sewn onto pillows, sweatshirts, jean jackets, or made into pockets to sew on clothing. Disconnect from technology and join us in embracing the calming rhythm of hand stitching in our own little stitch community.

Scrappy Bird Slow Stitch Class

Come learn, slow stitching techniques to complete a 6 x 7 finished piece of art with the scrappy bird as the focal point.

*Please bring a pair of sharp scissors
* two hour class

*When you register for the class, please let them know your color palette preference: red, pink, blue, green, tan/cream. Fabrics will vary. For example, if you select blue, you will have a variety of handpicked blues and coordinating complimentary fabric colors.
