Mothing Madness – Join us for a fun evening learning about our local moths. Experts from Butterfly Ridge Conservation Center will join us to describe the work of our forgotten pollinators and identify the moths that will make an appearance at their portable mothing station. Butterfly Ridge has documented over 1000 moth species at their southeast Ohio location, and we are excited to see how man species will have flying at our location. Flashlights and long sleeves are recommended for the activity. Moth-themed books and merchandise will be available for purchase.

Lepidotera Gardening and Attraction 101 – Join Chris Kline, Director of Butterfly Ridge, as we stroll the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Lakeview Recreation Area pollinator garden, looking for butterflies and discussing their role within the park and larger eco-system. Kline will also discuss strategies you can use to attract more butterflies to your home landscape. Butterfly-themed books and merchandise will be available for purchase.
