Event Details
Join instructor Mary Sinclair in our Beginner Watercolors Class, a 4-week course designed for individuals ages 13 and up who are looking to explore the beautiful world of watercolors. In this class, students will learn how to effectively use watercolors to create stunning designs such as cards, florals, and landscapes. Mary will guide students in understanding the medium, controlling the vibrancy of their palette, mastering value and shading, learning the vocabulary associated with watercolors, and practicing basic watercolor techniques. Participants will also explore the use of negative space to enhance their artwork.
At the end of the course, each student will have the opportunity to showcase their finished pieces at our artist reception this fall.
