July 26, 1936: Six-year-old Neil Armstrong, a Warren and Champion resident, took his first flight with his father from Warren Airways (now the site of First Flight Lunar Module) in a Ford Tri-Motor airplane (the Tin Goose). This first flight sparked young Neil’s life-long love of aviation.

July 29, 1969: Astronaut Neil Armstrong made his first flight in the Apollo 11 Lunar Module and became the first man to walk on the Moon where he spoke the famous words, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
