Dr. Gregory S. Forbes, a former Severe Weather Expert with The Weather Channel, and Jennifer Narramore, owner of Tornado Talk, will deliver a presentation on the destructive tornado that affected our region in 1985.
Dr. Forbes was involved in the damage survey as part of the survey team for the National Weather Service and the National Academy of Sciences, and he will share his firsthand experiences of the aftermath.
Narramore will pay tribute to the lives lost, recognize the heroes, and reflect on the resilience of the affected communities.
