Experience the Heartbeat of History at Sweet Memories Vintage Tees! Step inside, and you’ll find more than shelves—you’ll find stories. Sodas that taste like 1955. T-shirts that feel like home. And a mission that gives every memory meaning.

Tucked just off Belmont Avenue in Liberty Township, Girard, Ohio, Sweet Memories Vintage Tees is more than a shop—it’s a full-sensory journey into the sweetest parts of America’s past. This small, woman-owned business has become a nationally recognized leader in the candy industry, known coast-to-coast for its retro flair, heart-centered mission, and one-of-a-kind experience.

Where Nostalgia Comes to Life

Sweet Memories began with a simple but powerful idea: celebrate Youngstown’s legacy through the lens of joy. In 2020, founder Linda Barton launched a commemorative tee to honor the 100th anniversary of Good Humor®, which began right in her hometown. That single shirt turned into something extraordinary.

Today, Sweet Memories Vintage Tees is the largest licensed manufacturer of vintage candy and ice cream apparel in the U.S. Holding over 100 Officially licensed collections, some include: Good Humor®, Klondike®, Popsicle®, Tootsie Roll®, PEZ®, Boyer®,and Spangler®.

In fact, it’s home to the nation’s largest selection of Klondike® and Good Humor® gear, all designed to rekindle sweet memories across generations.

Golden Age Beverage: A Comeback for the Ages

True to its mission of reviving Americana, Sweet Memories has also resurrected a local classic—Golden Age Beverage, a soda brand originally bottled in Youngstown in the 1930s.

The revival kicks off with the debut of “Founding Flavors,” a patriotic soda line crafted for the America 250 and Army 250 celebrations. These small-batch, glass-bottled lightly carbonated smooth soda blends historic charm with favorite flavors—like Washington’s Colonial Red Cherry, Jefferson’s Southern Peach, Franklin’s Mint, Rosie’s Riveting Strawberry, Betsy Ross’ Berry. It’s vintage refreshment with a hometown soul.

Giving Back, One Tee at a Time

Sweet Memories is more than a business—it’s a mission born of gratitude. After Akron Children’s Hospital saved her daughter’s life, Barton made giving back central to everything she built.
Since 2020, Sweet Memories has donated over $67,000 to the hospital’s NICU Clinic through its Sugar & Frozen Treats apparel line.army 250
