Competing against major destination marketing organizations for third time at U.S. Travel Association’s ESTO Awards
WARREN, Ohio — Trumbull County Tourism has been named a national finalist for the Excellence in Print Marketing Award at U.S. Travel’s ESTO Awards, the most prestigious recognition in destination marketing in the country. Their 2025 Truly Trumbull Trip Ideas visitor guide is competing against Visit Ventura, California, and Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Florida.
This is not the first time Trumbull Tourism has stood at this level. They’ve won back-to-back ESTO Awards in 2021 and 2022, competing against destinations including Port Aransas, TX, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and St. Petersburg/Clearwater.
Being named a finalist again confirms that the quality of Trumbull Tourism’s marketing work continues to hold its own against organizations with budgets many times its size.
“This recognition belongs to our staff who bring this level of commitment every single day,” said Beth Kotwis Carmichael, CEO. “We compete against multi-million-dollar marketing organizations, and we keep showing up as finalists and winners. We know who we are. Turns out other people are starting to figure it out too.”
