Liberty Township Announces America 250 Heritage Tour and July 18 Celebration at Churchill Park
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Liberty Township is inviting residents and visitors to take part in two America 250 experiences this summer: a self-guided Liberty Township Heritage Tour running June 1 through July 18, 2026, followed by the Liberty Township 250 Celebration on July 18 at Churchill Park.
The Liberty Township Heritage Tour is designed as a fun, educational way to explore local history while celebrating 250 years of America. Participants visit historic sites, landmarks, and local treasures throughout the community.
The tour includes an interactive “hunt” style format. Participants visit the locations listed in the tour brochure, find the official stamp or clue marker at each stop, and stamp the brochure in the matching box. Those who complete the tour can submit their brochure to receive a commemorative prize.
To close out the Heritage Tour, Liberty Township will host its America 250 Celebration on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Churchill Park, 4308 Belmont Ave, Liberty.
In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be held at The LYRIC Center (formerly the Liberty High School gym), 317 Churchill Road (SR 304).
