Explore the Western Reserve Greenway, a scenic multi-purpose 16.7-mile trail and key link in Ohio’s Lake-to-River Greenway with trailheads across Northeast Ohio.

​The Western Reserve Greenway Trail in Trumbull County, Ohio, offers a scenic 16.7-mile paved path stretching from Bloomfield Township to the City of Warren. This multi-use trail accommodates activities such as walking, biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing, traversing through open fields, woodlands, and suburban areas.

As part of the larger Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway, the trail contributes to a nearly 100-mile route connecting Lake Erie to the Ohio River. Accessible trailheads include Sunside Trailhead in Champion Township, Oakfield Station in Bristol Township, and Lockwood Trailhead in Bloomfield Township.

The Western Reserve Greenway utilizes the abandoned Penn Central 714 rail line, and runs parallel with State Route 45 and is part of the Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway, a 100-mile trail that is currently under construction and will ultimately cross four counties as it stretches from Ashtabula on Lake Erie to East Liverpool along the Ohio River. More than 70 miles have been completed.

- Oakfield Station: (1328 Hyde Oakfield Road North Bloomfield) Situated about a mile east of State Route 45 along Hyde-Oakfield Road in Bristol Township.​

- Lockwood Trailhead: Found on State Route 87 in Bloomfield Township.​

- North River Road Trailhead: (440 N River Rd NW, Warren)
