MISSION BBQ was founded by two friends who are passionate about BBQ and patriotic about their country. They opened their first restaurant on September 11, 2011, with the aim of honoring the heroes who make the country great, such as soldiers, firefighters, police officers, and first responders.

The founders believe that BBQ is a quintessentially American tradition and have traveled across the country to learn the secrets of great BBQ from places like Texas, Kansas City, the Carolinas, and St. Louis. They strive to serve authentic BBQ made from fresh ingredients in a dining room filled with tributes to those who have served the country.

MISSION BBQ is dedicated to serving those who serve and holds a daily salute to the Stars and Stripes at lunchtime. Their mission is driven by a desire to honor and support the brave men and women who protect and serve their communities and country.
