Lakeview Nature Trail is a ¾ mile trail situated off of the Lakeview Recreation Area that showcases several different types of habitat including freshwater wetlands, hardwood forests, and a secluded bay. The Lakeview Nature Trail leads to an observation platform where visitors can view the nesting of prothonotary warblers, osprey, and wood ducks due to nesting boxes and jars that have been placed a safe distance from the platform. Along the trail is interpretive signage highlighting native vegetation and wildlife.
