This nearly 18-acre park, which began operation in 1920, is the oldest park in the system and has a rich history of regatta events. An excellent area for fishing as well as a launch and pullout site for canoes and kayaks on the Mahoning River Water Trail, this park is the designated pullout point before the Leavittsburg Dam. It is 3.66 miles downstream from the Thomas A Swift MetroPark and 4.08 miles upstream from Burbank Park in Warren, the next pullout point on the Mahoning River. The park features a 22-car parking lot and space for four boat trailers. It offers picnic areas and grills, features nature trails and is a convenient stop along the Ohio Bicycle Route J.
