Braceville Township Cemetery in Trumbull County, Ohio, dates to 1812 when Hervey Stow donated land for a public burying ground. This historic site holds early settlers, Revolutionary and War of 1812 families, and unique stories including Eli Barnum, cousin of P.T. Barnum and founder of the Phalanx utopian community, and Jessie Taft Smith, a Lusitania survivor.

With headstones carved by local artisans and ties to the Taft and Stow families, the cemetery preserves the pioneer and immigrant legacy of Northeast Ohio.
