Haunted Campground Wagon Rides 12:00-3:00 PM

Climb aboard and take a ride through one of the best parts of Halloween Weekend at Mosquito Lake! Every year, our campers go all out decorating their campsites for Halloween, transforming the campground with ghosts, monsters, lights, pumpkins, skeletons, and plenty of spooky surprises. Our FREE wagon rides will take you on a tour through the decorated campground so you can sit back and enjoy the creativity and Halloween spirit of our campers. Wagon rides are FREE and open to park visitors. Location: Campground Overflow Parking Lot

Chalk on the Walk: Halloween Edition 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Get ready to spook up the sidewalk with your creativity! Join us for Chalk on the Walk: Halloween Nature Edition, where kids can transform the pavement into a magical canvas of pumpkins, owls, bats, spiders, fall leaves, and all things nature with a Halloween twist. Prizes will be awarded for the most spooky, colorful, and nature-inspired creations. Chalk is provided-just bring your imagination (and maybe a costume too)! Halloween Basket Raffle 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Take a chance at winning some great prizes while supporting Mosquito Lake State Park! Stop by throughout the afternoon and check out the Halloween Weekend Basket Raffle benefiting the Friends of Mosquito Lake State Park. Every ticket purchased helps the Friends support projects and improvements throughout the park, as well as the naturalist activities, educational programs, special events, and experiences offered to visitors throughout the year. Halloween Food Trucks & Vendors 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Come hungry and plan to spend the day at Mosquito Lake! Food trucks and vendors will be joining us throughout the day as part of our Halloween Weekend festivities at the Mosquito Lake State Park Campground. Grab something delicious to eat, browse the vendors, and then stick around to enjoy all of the Halloween happenings taking place throughout the campground. With decorated campsites, wagon rides, raffles, Halloween activities, and plenty of spooky fun, there’s something happening throughout the day. Haunted Trails of Mosquito Lake 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

When darkness falls, the Nature Play Area takes on a whole new life! Campers and park visitors are invited to brave our Haunted Trails and make their way through the Nature Play Area after dark. You never know what-or who-might be waiting around the next corner! The haunted walk will be open continuously from 7:30-9:30 PM, so stop by anytime during the evening … if you dare! Non-campers, park at the campground overflow lot and walk down to the Nature Play entrance. Location: Nature Play

Glow in the Dark Archery and BB Guns 8:00 to 10:00 PM

Join our naturalist and amazing group of volunteers as they try to save the park from an invasion of ghosts, monsters, zombies and creatures of the night. With all the fun they teach archery and bb gun basics with an emphasis on safety. This program is for all ages, not just kids. While waiting your turn to defend Mosquito Lake, join us in roasting marshmallows by the fire. Parent supervision required. No open-toed shoes and kids must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must sign an activity waiver to take part in the program. Location: Mosquito Lake State Park Archery Range
