The First Wednesday Series

Alexandra Lauson from the International Women’s Air and Space Museum at the Burke Lakefront Airport in downtown Cleveland will present a picture of women pilots and their duties during World War II. This little told story will make women come alive as they helped the war effort in new ways and made possible today’s roles as pilots, astronauts and engineers in the field of aviation.
