Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your feet wet! Join our naturalist for a hands-on
adventure as we explore the hidden world of macroinvertebrates—tiny aquatic creatures that play
a big role in the health of our local waterways. Kids (and curious adults!) will collect samples from a
nearby creek, observe critters like mayfly nymphs, caddisflies, and water beetles under
magnification, and learn how these organisms help us assess water quality. Wear water shoes or
old sneakers (Expect to get a little wet and muddy)
