After exploring the world of moths by moonlight, join us the next day for
a celebration of their daytime cousins—butterflies! During this family friendly program, we’ll take a closer look at the life cycle, adaptations,
and ecological importance of these colorful pollinators. Participants will
have the chance to observe butterflies in their natural habitat, learn how
to identify common Ohio species, and discover how to create butterfly friendly spaces at home. We’ll also have kid-friendly activities like
butterfly crafts, scavenger hunts, and nectar plant matching games!
What to Bring: Sun protection, water, and curiosity. Great for families,
young naturalists, and pollinator lovers. Bring your camera for some
fluttering photo ops!
