Split in half by Mosquito Creek Lake, Mecca is a largely rural town with a handful of gems an awesome lake views.

Mecca Park offers baseball and soccer fields, a basketball court and a "Tree of Life" September 11 memorial.

Boat launches near the intersection of Greenville Road NE and Dennison Ashtabula Road offer easy access to the lake, while Jan's Campground on the west side of the lake features campsites and the only cabins on Mosquito Creek Lake.

Neighborhood bar, Hole in the Wall offers outdoor seating and a selection of beer and cocktails. The yellow dog Saloon and Grille smokes their own barbeque and offers a beautiful lake sunset view, and the family-friendly Mecca Cones & Coneys is perfect for everyone's sweet tooth.
