Step back in time and honor the stories of those who served. Join us for a Living History Walk through Brownwood Cemetery, featuring a special focus on 11 Civil War veterans laid to rest there.

Guided interpreters in period costume will share the personal stories of local soldiers — their struggles, their battles, and the powerful account of one man’s imprisonment at the infamous Andersonville Prison.

This is a Living History Walk — not a ghost walk. Experience history, not hauntings, as you walk the cemetery’s quiet driveways and reflect on the sacrifices of those who served.

Walk times: 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM

Suggested Donation:

$10 per adult • $5 per student

(Cash donations appreciated — proceeds will go toward flowers for veterans’ graves this spring.)
